The Clark Doll Experiment, or widely known as “the doll test,” was developed by Kenneth Clark and his wife, Mamie Clark in the 1940s. This experiment aimed to prove the psychological effect of separation on American-African children. To study the racial perception of children, this married couple used four identical dolls, except for colors.
